Ely Pride is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated event on August 9th, 2025, taking place at the newly sponsored Amherst Field venue, generously supported by King’s School. Following a record-breaking attendance of over 5,000 participants in 2024, Ely Pride is moving to a larger location to accommodate the growing number of supporters and allies.
Amherst Field, conveniently situated near the Ely train station, boasts more than six times the space of the previous venue at Jubilee Gardens, ensuring a comfortable experience for all attendees as well as allowing for onsite, two stages, a community tent and funfair.
In addition to the new location, Ely Pride 2025 promises an unforgettable line-up of entertainment, activities, and a wedding ceremony for the first time in the event’s history.
The event will feature a diverse array of local and national performers, including the world-renowned RuPaul’s Drag Race star, Vicki Vivacious, as the headline act.
The day will commence at 10am and run until 9:30pm with the usual craft and street food market, showcasing local vendors and The festivities will continue with entertainment throughout the day, providing a platform for artists and creatives to share their talents. The event will once again be attended by The Pole Shed who will be demonstrating their skills through out the day.
In a heart-warming first, Ely Pride 2025 will host a wedding ceremony on stage, highlighting the celebration of love and unity within the LGBTQ+ community. This public display of commitment and support emphasizes the event’s mission to promote inclusivity and acceptance for all.
